Paralegal

Dee Thompson has been a Litigation Paralegal for more than 30 years and has worked on many types of litigation files, but employment law is her favorite area. She primarily works with Rachel Berlin Benjamin and Brian J. Sutherland on employment law cases.

Dee received her BA in Drama from the University of Georgia and her MA in English from the University of Tennessee. She attended the National Center for Paralegal Training at a time when that was the only paralegal education program in the South.

Dee is also a freelance writer and journalist and she has published many articles online and in print. She is also the author of five novels, a children’s book, a memoir, and a cookbook. Dee has written a guide for paralegals: Paralegal 411: Tips, Tricks and Timesavers for the Litigation Paralegal, and her articles often appear in legal publications.

A native of Augusta, Georgia, Dee spends her free time writing, reading, cooking, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
