Attorney

Marina is an actively licensed Texas attorney since 2000 with experience in complex commercial litigation, intellectual property protection and criminal law.

In Texas, Marina was an Assistant County Attorney in Austin for five Justice of the Peace Precincts where she participated in bench and jury trials, interviewed victims, defendants, witnesses and law enforcement officials and represented the State in competency hearings. Marina filed complaints for criminal offenses, assessed cases and made recommendations to the courts.

Marina then worked as a litigation attorney for several firms engaged exclusively in the practice of intellectual property protection and complex commercial litigation. She gained experience in topics related to intellectual property rights, software technology development, theft of trade secrets, misappropriation of business concepts, breach of non-compete and tortious interference for several high-tech industry leaders.

Marina received her J.D. from Tulane School of Law in 1999 where she was a member of the Journal of International and Comparative Law and the Phi Alpha Delta International Legal Fraternity. She is fluent in Russian. Marina has since moved to Georgia and taken the Georgia Bar examination.

Outside of work, Marina enjoys modern architecture and mid-century design, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family and two dogs.
